H2K Player stores your provider login, favorites, viewing preferences and watch positions locally on your television. This information stays on your TV and, except as described below, is not transmitted to us.
For trial and license management, the app sends your TV's device code to our license server. The device code is your TV's network MAC address (or, if that is unavailable, a device unique identifier such as the DUID). We store that code, the date it was first seen, and its license status. As with any internet request, our servers also receive and log the IP address the request comes from.
If you choose to use the "add playlists on h2kplayer.com" feature, the provider details you enter there — such as the server address, username and password, portal address and MAC, or M3U link — are stored on our server against your device code so your TV can load them. You can remove them at any time on that page. If you enter your provider details directly on the TV instead, they are not sent to us.
Payments are processed by our payment provider (Stripe); we never see or store your card details. Your email address is collected by the payment provider for your receipt, and your device code is attached to the order so we can activate your TV.
We do not track your viewing history, app usage, or web browsing. The app contains no advertising and no analytics, and we do not sell or share any data with third parties.
